INTERPERSONAL SKILLS : SELF AWARENESS AND PROBLEM SOLVING
Inadequacy pangs are not unusual for people joining a new place of work, as well as for those recently promoted.
Drawing on our experience with professionals from industry, government, education as well as the development sector, we have evolved a specific programme to help individuals equip themselves with interpersonal skills required to carry their job effectively.
This programme includes following areas :
1. the development and functions of personality structure
2. defence mechanisms and the pathological pattern of inter -personal relationships
3. skill development for identifying and unlocking experiential awareness
4. the development of a healthy interpersonal pattern of behaviour
THE APPROACH
The programme proposes to empower individuals to cope and perform better in professional environments by helping them
a) become self aware - emotionally, conceptually and behaviourally and spiritually
b) chart a programme for change, in the areas that they choose
How do work and life interact ? What does it take to make a smooth and successful shift from being a ‘dependent student’ to becoming an ‘inter-dependent adult’ ?
Finding his own answers to these questions helps the individual make choices in his behavioural patterns that can lead him to grow into a balanced, integrated and functional professional.
